Several weeks ago I had the idea to offer Christ-centered Christmas portraits as an alternative to pictures with Santa. I'm not a Santa hater, please don't mistake me, I just wanted to get those same magical shots but also shows kids that Christmas isn't about presents, it's about the birth of the Savior.
I decided to make a studio in my dining room and offer 20 minute sessions at a bargain price to my friends and neighbors.
My mom and I went shopping for the props and worked hard at making this 4 foot tree absolutely gorgeous! My dad donated the most beautiful hardwood flooring to my project and a little of this and that and BAM! I had a studio!
I started off taking pictures of Danno. He's a mover, so it was a bit challenging. We got several winners though. I spent HOURS learning how to use Photoshop and am obviously still developing those skills, but I wanted to post them even if my editing needs work. You'll never see how far you've come if you aren't willing to share where you started out.
